Lane Cove Historical Society

Monthly meetings with guest speaker on an historical topic. Runs the yearly Lane Cove Historical Society History Prize competition. Organises visits to places of historical interest. The Society manages Carisbrook Historic House Museum (see separate entry). A sub-group of the Society "Friends of Carisbrook" help with guiding and management of the House.
