Home Library Service & Accessibility
Home Library Service
The Home Library Service is a free service for residents of the Lane Cove and Hunters Hill Local Government Areas who are unable to visit the library due to age, illness, injury, disability, or caring responsibilities.
We deliver a personalised selection of library items directly to your home, including:
- Large print and normal print books
- Fiction and non-fiction
- Audiobooks (MP3)
- Magazines
- DVDs
- Music CDs
- Community language materials (on request)
You can request specific titles and/or our library staff can select items for you based on your reading preferences.
Items are delivered and collected on a regular schedule — every two or four weeks.
We can also help you access to our digital collections, including eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines, eNewspapers, and streaming video services.
