Helmet Heroes Challenge

There’s lots to love about Lane Cove, and we want to see you enjoying the new Blackman Park Skate Park!

Show us how you Love Where You Live for your chance to win a $50 Lane Cove Gift Card! We would love some video of you and your friends at Blackman Park Skate Park! Some of the videos will feature in our upcoming Annual Report, on our website and on Council's Facebook page.

Simply send us a helmet cam or hand held video that you have taken of the fantastic new Skate Park to comms@lanecove.nsw.gov.au to enter.

We can’t wait to see your videos! Entries close 11:59pm Monday 22 July.

Terms & Conditions

Entries will be accepted between 9:00am Monday 15 July and 11:59pm Monday 22 July 2024.

ENTERING VIA EMAIL: Entrants must email comms@lanecove.nsw.gov.au and include the full name of the videographer.

One winner will be drawn at random, providing they meet the eligibility criteria. Winner will receive a $50 Lane Cove Gift Card. Total prize money = $50.00.

The subject matter depicted in entries must be located at Blackman Park Skate Park. Please do not include the images of others using the Skate Park in your videos. Preferably captured in Landscape.

Each video is considered one entry. A maximum of six entries per individual is permitted.

Participants own the copyright of their video. In entering the competition, the participant gives Lane Cove Council authority to reproduce, publish, communicate or display the work online (including social media), in presentations, videos, publications and, if selected, for public display at various venues.

Where possible, entrants will be credited with the videos when they are used, however this is not guaranteed.

The winners will be announced in July on Council's website. Maximum of one prize per person or email account. Winners are drawn at random.
