Excellence in the Environment

At the recent Excellence in the Environment Awards, Council took home a Highly Commended Award for our Community Led Resilience program.

Delivered in partnership with the Australian Red Cross, this program helped increase connectedness and social cohesion within high-density apartment buildings as well as helped build resilience to climate change and other stressors.

If you live in a local high-rise apartment block, you might be familiar with some of the events and workshops we ran as part of this program.
