Application Process

All current vacancies & job descriptions are advertised via our online application platform. Please review the information carefully to determine which role is best suited to you and to give yourself the best opportunity when applying, please ensure you include:

  • A fully completed application form (answering all questions asked)
  • A brief cover letter (Optional)
  • Your resume or curriculum vitae (CV)
  • A copy of your relevant qualifications

Our Selection Process

Once you have submitted your online application the selection process will commence as follows:

Stage 1 - Shortlisting

The selection panel assess all applications against the selection criteria. Applicants who do not meet the essential criteria will not be considered.

 

Stage 2 - Interview

If you are selected for an interview council will advise you via email or phone of the date, time and location. This may involve a face to face (or online) interview, sometimes this is combined with a practical exercise. The interview will include a series of behaviour - based questions designed around the selection criteria.

 

Stage 3 - Post Interview

Should you be selected to progress to the next stage of the recruitment process following your interview we will request to contact two referees, we will contact you to confirm their details. Ideally your referees should include your most current supervisor/manager along with another manager who can discuss your suitability. Once we have received your references and the relevant panel have approved of same, you will then progress to the next stage of the process.

Where relevant a pre-employment medical examination, working with children and/or a copy of your relevant qualifications may be requested. 

 

Stage 4 - Offer of Employment

Once all pre-employment checks are completed, the successful candidates/s will be verbally offered the position, a start date will be agreed, and a written offer of employment provided.

Unsuccessful candidates will also be notified at this stage.
