Bushland Management Advisory Committee

This Committee provides advice to the General Manager on bushland management within Lane Cove.

The Bushland Management Advisory Committee demonstrates Council's commitment to the urban bushland as an important environmental and community resource, and to working in partnership with the community for the long-term benefit of the community. The committee provides advice regarding bushland management strategies and priorities, and the implementation of Council's Plan of Management for Bushland.

The Committee comprises two Councillors (and an alternate Councilor), four community representatives, one wildlife representative who can provide expertise regarding wildlife management, three representatives of the Lane Cove Bushland and Conservation Society, and one member from an active Lane Cove bushcare group.
