Background

Having first lived in Lane Cove in 1987 I returned in 2001 with my family. Both inside and outside of council, I devote my time to initiatives that foster community connection.

In 2018, I was named 'Lane Cove Citizen of the Year' in recognition for community service.

With a successful career as a contemporary jewellery and object artist, teacher and small business owner, I also ran a gallery for 15 years supporting emerging and established contemporary design artists.

Prior to this, I worked as an applications developer and workflow specialist in the Australian IT industry in the Banking and Insurance sector and spent several years working in the UK in a consulting capacity.

Becoming an active member of the Art Acquisition committee whilst working at Macquarie Bank further enriched my understanding and interest in contemporary art.

Why I stood for Council

I have a deep affection for Lane Cove and our community. We’re truly fortunate to live in such a beautiful area, so close to the city and other amenities.

I wholeheartedly believe in the strength of sustainable, connected, and resilient communities and the importance of fostering transparency and ensuring clear and effective communication.

I chose to stand for re-election because I’m keen to continue contributing to our community at a governance level, providing a balanced and independent voice on behalf of the community and I’m passionate about preserving our green spaces and environment for future generations.

I’m honoured to be re-elected and will strive to ensure the voice of our community is heard, and part of the decision making process.
