Upper Stringybark Creek

Boardwalk and ferns along creek

This site contains Lane Cove's only area of endangered Blue Gum High Forest, with several magnificent Sydney Blue Gums dominating the tree canopy. Volunteers have tackled heavy weed infestation at the top part of the creek, regenerated ferns and planted many seedlings, making great progress in rehabilitating this creek line.

Meet: 4th Saturday of the month
Time: 9:00am – 12:00pm
