Purr-fectly Safe Cats Photo Competition

This competition closed in September and prize winners were announced at Sustainability Lane (Lane Cove Fair) on 13 October 2024.

With over 110 entries submitted, it's clear that many people are choosing a healthy and safe indoor lifestyle for their feline friends!

Congratulations to our prize winners:

Indoor cats have better daily health and suffer drastically fewer illnesses, infections and injuries. It was fantastic to see so many happy cats who stay safe from roaming, whether indoors, using cat runs, catios or enclosures in Lane Cove.

Keeping your cat inside has huge benefits for our native wildlife too, with roaming cats likely to harm or kill birds, skinks and other wildlife. All Lane Cove's bushland reserves have now been designated Wildlife Protection Areas, and all cat owners are asked to help support this new declaration.
