Planting Resilience

Lane Cove Council is excited to invite expressions of interest from apartment buildings to participate in our Planting Resilience program. This program aims to promote sustainable living, and foster community connections by offering support for the creation of community gardens on common property within residential complexes. Resources will be provided to set up and maintain a community garden along with onsite workshops run by a facilitator to ensure participants have some training and knowledge on the how to care and growth for their garden.

How to Apply:

Residents interested in establishing a community garden in their complex are invited to submit an EOI. Applications should include: 

  • Details of the proposed location for the garden 
  • A brief outline of how the garden will be managed and maintained 
  • Plans for community involvement and engagement 
  • Evidence of liaising with Strata for their imminent approval

This is not a requirement of the application, but is a requirement if your building is successful
