Now open to people of all ages, participants will have access to the Digital Storytellers workshops that develop impactful stories.

From discovering the story, to making and editing and getting ready for the big screen, you will find this course both inspiring and practical.

Whether you want to share your vision or kickstart systems change, the course will provide the opportunity and space needed to develop and refine your story. Learn how to be a local climate solutions ambassador and lead through story. 

The most exciting part- you'll have the opportunity to see your short film screened at the Weaving Climate Stories Film Festival in 2025.

The course will run on the following dates at Lane Cove Library:

The Weaving Stories Film Festival is planned for early 2025.

What if I’m not good with technology?

Don’t let technology get in the way of a good story! If you want to share your story, you can join the course and spend most of your time showing your good side to the camera. Please indicate in the registration form, that you would like to share your story, rather than create films. You will only need to attend

  • Workshop #1 on Tuesday 10 September 2024,
  • Workshop #3 on Tuesday 24 September 2024
  • Workshop #7 on 11 February 2025 (second half - from 7pm).
