Intergenerational Workshops

People of different generations siting

Did you know that bringing people together for intergenerational connection can bring about new perspectives and understanding.

Hosting an organised activity such as cooking or weaving can create the space for interactions that will combat loneliness, reduce ageism and build a sense of purpose through story sharing.

Council will provide a workshop facilitator to create a space for different generations to meet and do an activity together. The workshop could be part of a school excursion or activity for your aged care facility residents. Register your interest to participate in an upcoming workshop.
