Chinese Author Talk – Veronica O’Young @ St Leonards

Veronica O’Young joins us at St Leonards Library to read from her new collection of short stories Flowers but No Banquets. She has been the Chairperson of the Australian Chinese Art and Culture Association and a Senior Subtitler at SBS.

Flowers but No Banquets is a collection of 33 short stories based on Veronica’s life in Australia, including anecdotes of a migrant woman’s experience of working and raising a family, and the strengths of Eastern and Western values and culture.

This author talk will be presented in Mandarin. Free event. No bookings required.
