Weaving & Yarning workshops are part of the Weaving Climate Stories Project and are open and free for all to attend.

Join muruwari artist, Dr Virginia Keft, for a series of free Weaving & Yarning workshops for all-ages and all backgrounds. Connect with others while you learn about Aboriginal weaving techniques, share a story, and discover a new skill.

We invite you to participate in creating a community artwork. During the workshop, Virginia will guide you through the process of weaving as we work together towards a collaborative artwork that will be displayed during the Weaving Climate Stories Film Festival, and enter into the Lane Cove Art Collection.

No prior experience is necessary; whether this is your first time or you are a master weaver, all are welcome. Weaving materials will be provided. Places are limited, booking is essential to reserve your spot.

Accessibility

This is an all-ages, all-ability and all-gender workshop. People living with a disability are welcome to attend, please bring your carer/support person with you if you require assistance to participate in the workshop
