The hirer has a duty of care to both the public and staff working at the stall. It is critical that all structures used by the hirers be reasonably practicable, safe, particularly in the event of a fire or inclement weather, and that protocols are in place to safeguard the public and staff in these situations. A marquee/ tent must be secured at all times with commercially rated pegs and ropes. Sandbags & cast-iron leg weights are our preferred method of weighing a marquee down.
